BETHESDA, MD – Travelers at Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) will get a glimpse of the best of San José starting today. The new Sharks Cage Sports Bar & Grill — paying homage to San José’s beloved hockey team, the San José Sharks —celebrated today as part of a ribbon-cutting ceremony opening SJC’s first six (of twelve planned) gates in its new Terminal B Concourse.

Sharks Cage Sports Bar & Grill is the perfect meeting spot for locals to watch the game on TV and for visitors to learn more about this popular NHL team. Vintage team photographs and sports memorabilia adorn walls outfitted in the Sharks’ colors of teal, black and silver. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus focus on American comfort foods.

Sunnyvale’s C.J. Olson’s Cherries, Sunglass Icon, and Sunset News round out the HMSHost-operated concessions in Terminal B. In Terminal A’s main rotunda, HMSHost has also opened a new Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant, another Silicon Valley original.

C.J. Olson Cherries of Sunnyvale is a salute to Santa Clara County’s agricultural heritage, selling its famous fresh produce as well as gift baskets featuring dried fruits, nuts and chocolates, all available for shipping. C.J. Olson Cherries started in the South Bay over 100 years ago.

Sunglass Icon is a specialty optics store offering high quality and functional eyewear – covering every need, from top designer to price-conscious options. The snappy designs and wealth of choices include sporty name brands such as Maui Jim, Revo, and Oakley, and high end fashion designers Prada, Gucci, and Dior— for appeal to youth and adult consumers alike.
