HMSHost and Albany International Airport Celebrate Debut of Hudson Valley Wine Bar
BETHESDA, MD – HMSHost, a world leader in travel dining and shopping, and Albany International Airport (ALB) today raised a toast to the opening of the new Hudson Valley Wine Bar. Located on Concourse B, the sophisticated full-service wine bar and casual dining restaurant introduces ALB airport travelers to the region’s most beloved wines produced by Gold Medal Award-winning vintners and family owned wineries.
New York is the third largest wine producing state in the country, with approximately 300 wineries from the Finger Lakes, the Hudson River Region, Lake Erie, the Niagara Escarpment and Long Island.
Hudson Valley Wine Bar will present popular vintages from local wineries including a Five-Point award-winning Riesling Cuvee from Swedish Hill; Brotherhood Winery’s View of the Hudson Cabernet; Dr. Konstantin. Frank & Sons’ barrel-aged Meritage, Gewürztraminer, and spicy Pinot Noir; Casa Larga Vineyards’ award-winning Chardonnay and Petite Noir, and Goose Watch Winery’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and unique Pinot Noir Brut Rose Champagne.

With open seating, visual charm and a relaxed environment, Hudson Valley Wine Bar is an upscale spot for travelers to unwind and sample local wines. The menu has been developed to balance well with wine and features a Roasted Red Pepper Hummus plate, Jumbo Shrimp and Smoked Salmon appetizers and seafood bisque. Seared Salmon Caesar and Chicken Mozzarella salads may be ordered as either a full lunch or dinner entrée. Sandwiches include Roasted Turkey, Lime Chicken Brie and Brisket, and for a quick bite, the menu offers a Cheese and Fruit Plate that pairs well with either red or white wine.
