HMSHost and Shake Shack Partner to Bring Modern Day “Roadside” Burger Stand to Travelers Across North America

BETHESDA, MD & NEW YORK — Global restaurateur HMSHost and Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK) are “shaking” up the travel industry with a new partnership to open the iconic burger restaurant in airports and on motorways across North America. The two companies recently signed a Development Agreement to include multiple location openings over the next several years, all of which will be operated by HMSHost. HMSHost has already opened its first Shake Shack at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 3, and the location has been extremely well received by travelers, giving testament to the popularity of this unique brand.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no added hormones and no antibiotics ever), 100% all-natural cage-free chicken (no antibiotics ever), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine (available at select locations) and more. Shake Shack’s fine dining heritage and commitment to premium ingredients, coupled with its fun and lively environment has earned the brand a cult-like following around the world.  

Shake Shack will stay true to its famous menu with signature items including ShackBurger®, Smokeshack®, Chick’n Shack™, and ‘Shroom Burger, classic crinkle-cut fries, beer, wine and frozen custard ice cream. In addition, Shake will feature its breakfast menu with signature breakfast sandwiches including Sausage, Egg N’ Cheese, Bacon, Egg N’ Cheese, and Egg N’ Cheese; all consisting of griddled-fresh, cage-free eggs, served with American cheese on a toasted potato bun. The breakfast sandwich is topped with all-natural Shack pork sausage and the bacon sandwich is topped with all-natural Applewood smoked bacon.
