HMSHost Recognized by City of Charlotte, North Carolina with Proclamation

May 9, 2016 becomes “HMSHost Achievements Day”

BETHESDA, MD – Global restaurateur HMSHost was recently the proud recipient of a Proclamation by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina that proclaims May 9, 2016 as “HMSHost Achievements Day.” This recognition addressed HMSHost’s 60 food & beverage operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and the efforts of its 1,870 associates who deliver dining services to nearly 45 million passengers annually.

The proclamation also recognized HMSHost for being honored with several prestigious airport industry awards including Best Overall Food & Beverage Operator, Best Food & Beverage Brand Operator, Food Operator with the Highest Regard for Customer Service, and Best New Food & Beverage Concept for 1897 Market at Charlotte Douglas International Airport by Airport Revenue News; Best Airport Bar for Whisky River (also at Charlotte Douglas) by USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards; and Best New Food & Beverage Full-Service Concept for 1897 Market by Airports Council International-North America.
