Nashville Airport Travelers Get “Food With A Soul” at Berry Field Bistro by HMSHost

Grand Opening Celebrated of New Concourse C Restaurant Featuring Tennessee Products

NASHVILLE, TN – Fresh, local, sustainable food was celebrated today at Nashville International Airport at the grand opening of Berry Field Bistro, a new restaurant by global restaurateur HMSHost. This new restaurant brings a unique opportunity for travelers to enjoy the wholesome quality of Tennessee products, right in the airport’s Concourse C near Gate C2.

“It is a great pleasure to be celebrating the opening of Berry Field Bistro with our valued partner the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Kent Vanden Oever. “Berry Field Bistro is a truly unique restaurant that respects the region and delivers an authentic and exciting taste of Tennessee to guests.”

Dishes are made with “Pick Tennessee” ingredients when available as Berry Field Bistro is rooted in the belief that the best meals are crafted from fresh local food and natural ingredients. Local ingredient suppliers include farms such as Rainbow Hill Farm and Delvin Farms. Travelers can also enjoy local products from companies like, Nashville Chocolate & Nut Co., Nashville Roast Coffee, Southern Belle Biscuits, and Kijiji Coffee.

The menu highlights the hard work and dedication of local famers and artisans and ingredients are carefully sourced at the peak of freshness. The southern waffles with maple bacon, pecans, and sweet butter have already become popular along with the Cobb salad, turkey breast BLT, and roast beef press sandwich. The menu also features a boulangerie (bakery) section, a charcuterie & fromage section, as well as freshly squeezed and mixed juices. Local brews on tap are from Yazoo Brewing Company and Little Harpeth Brewing.

\"We are delighted our long time concessions partner, HMSHost, selected BNA to open Berry Field Bistro, a unique concept utilizing local farm resources for meats, cheeses and produce,” said Rob Wigington, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority president and CEO. “Passengers will love this farm-to-table restaurant with a diverse and delicious menu, as well as unique local merchandise to take a little piece of Nashville with you to your next destination.”

Other restaurants HMSHost operates at Nashville International Airport include Hissho Sushi, Fresh Attractions, Provence Breads & Café, Neely’s Bar-B-Que, Noshville Delicatessen, Gibson Café, Yazoo Beer Cart, Tennessee Tavern, Blue Coast Burrito, Starbucks, and others.
