Wigle Whiskey Tasting Room, Bar & Restaurant Now Open at Pittsburgh International Airport

PITTSBURGH ‒ An award-winning distillery has landed inside Pittsburgh International Airport with the opening of Wigle Whiskey Tasting Room, Bar and Restaurant. Located in Concourse A, travelers can now imbibe in locally produced, made-from-scratch Wigle spirits, sample flights, cocktails, cider, and local beer as well as enjoy a full food menu, paired to the spirits.

“We’re excited to add another premier Pittsburgh brand to the airport,” said Eric Sprys, chief commercial officer for the Allegheny County Airport Authority. “Wigle Whiskey has quickly established themselves as an award-winning distillery with fans around the world. Their addition to our concessions portfolio further strengthens that authentic sense of place travelers are looking for when they come to Pittsburgh International Airport.”

While plane watching out over the airport tarmac, travelers can relax with Wigle’s spirits served in flights or by the glass, along with signature cocktails, and Pittsburgh’s own Threadbare Cider and Mead beer including the Bouquet de Rosé.

To complement Wigle Whiskey’s award-wining spirits, travelers can also enjoy an all-day menu of elevated pub favorites. From a Greek Chop Salmon salad and a Grilled Veggie Gyro to Bavarian Pretzels and the Afterglow BBQ Chicken Flatbread featuring a whiskey BBQ sauce. Satisfy sweet tooths with the Funnel Cake Fries topped with powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream. Early morning travelers won’t miss out on the deliciousness with lighter options such as a Greek Yogurt with fresh berries to hearty choices such as the Belgium Waffle or Ham & Swiss Omelet.

The newest airport restaurant also brings Wigle Whiskey’s fun vibe and atmosphere into the concourse. The design evokes a sense of its distillery and tasting rooms throughout the region.Travelers are greeted by Wigle’s signature vibrant colors throughout the restaurant and bar area, along with Whiskey Rebellion art graphics lining the exposed brick walls.

Wigle Whiskey is located in Concourse A, near gate A6. The opening is in partnership with Allegheny County Airport Authority, Fraport USA, and global restaurateur HMSHost.
