HMSHost, Airmall and Sammy Hagar Bring the Beach and Some Rock ‘N’ Roll to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill

Fans join in grand opening celebration; HMSHost’s fourth Sammy’s location

CLEVELAND, OH — Travelers at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will now be able to experience the city’s rock and roll culture without ever leaving the airport, at Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill, a new restaurant opened by HMSHost, AIRMALL and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar. Sammy himself joined representatives from HMSHost, AIRMALL and the airport last evening for a grand opening celebration of the new restaurant, located in Concourse A, with a ribbon cutting and VIP reception.

“What could be more appealing to travelers than combining great music and dining? With a menu developed from the recipes of some of my favorite friends and celebrity chefs, and the ambience of a beach vacation, travelers will be able to relax and unwind before their flight,” said Sammy Hagar. “Working with HMSHost to develop Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill has been an unparalleled positive experience.”

Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill at Cleveland Airport welcomes travelers with fun, vibrant colors and an electric atmosphere, just like a sunny day at the beach. Highlights of Sammy Hagar’s and Van Halen’s rock ‘n’ roll fame, such as guitars and musical memorabilia, along with surfboards and palm trees, adorn the walls and ceilings, and with surf inspired tunes in the background, combine to make this restaurant the hot spot to be while awaiting a flight.

The menu adds even more fun with beach and music-themed menu dishes such as Baja Seafood Bisque, Hall of Fame Carnitas, and Walleye Tacos. Early travelers can also kick off their trip with mouth-watering breakfast dishes such as the Los Cabos Omelet.
