HMSHost Awarded Contract for New Food Hall at Orlando International Airport

Central to Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s Concession Master Plan for Florida’s busiest airport, “The Enchanted Grove” food hall will serve as a dining destination for millions of travelers annually

BETHESDA, Maryland (June 22, 2026) – Global restaurateur HMSHost, part of Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) and a world leader in creating dining for travel venues, today announced it won a 10-year contract at Orlando International Airport (MCO) to bring its proposed food hall, “The Enchanted Grove,” to life — part of Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s (GOAA) Concession Master Plan, a multi-year program to reimagine restaurant and retail offerings throughout Terminals A and B.

The Enchanted Grove will set a new standard for airport dining at Orlando International Airport. The nearly 9,750-square-foot dining destination in the North Terminal Complex will showcase nationally recognized brands in a modern, memorable space designed to celebrate Florida’s natural beauty, contributing to delivering an elevated, world-class experience for nearly 58 million guests who travel through MCO each year.

Travelers can soon treat themselves to a delicious lineup of freshly prepared favorites — from made-to-order 100% Angus beef burgers at Shake Shack and Chick-fil-A's iconic chicken sandwiches to American Chinese classics from Panda Express and refreshing, nutrient-packed açaí bowls at Bahia Bowls. Every bite will be crafted to fuel, satisfy, and delight on the go.

“We applaud the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s bold, forward-thinking vision for Orlando International Airport, which places customer experience, innovation, and community at the heart of the travel journey,” said Steve Johnson, President & CEO, North America, Avolta. “Over our 35-year partnership with GOAA, we’ve worked hand in hand to enhance the airport experience, and this new vision presents an exciting opportunity to further advance that collaboration to create memorable moments for travelers for years to come.”

“We are pleased to welcome these outstanding restaurant concepts to Orlando International Airport as we continue elevating the guest experience with offerings travelers know and love,” said Lance Lyttle, Chief Executive Officer, GOAA. “In addition to local flavor, today’s travelers expect to find trusted, name-brand favorites as part of their journey and, together, these concepts help make the travel experience more convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable from the moment they arrive at MCO.”

Digital engagement will be an essential part of The Enchanted Grove, with in-store technology such as QR codes, digital menu boards, and order confirmation boards, allowing for greater convenience and speed. Travelers will also be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Club Avolta loyalty program, gaining access to exclusive offers, rewards, and cross-promotions.

HMSHost will operate The Enchanted Grove food hall with three partners: Wendy Anderson of The W Group Consulting Firm, LLC; Camille Lee-Johnson of I Believe Corp; and Ankur Sakhuja of Pita Hut Enterprises, LLC.
