PGA Tour Grill’s Next Stop: Las Vegas McCarran International Airport
LAS VEGAS, NV—Las Vegas may be known as a party town, but it is also a go-to spot for traveling golfers with some of the country’s top courses. The latest addition to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, PGA TOUR Grill further strengthens the area ties to the PGA TOUR and the game of golf. The PGA TOUR Grill is to airport dining what the hole-in-one is to the game of golf – a rare, exciting experience that will make anyone’s day one to remember. With the motto “Eat Smarter, Play Harder” the PGA TOUR Grill focuses on healthy eating fit for active lifestyles, a new trend in airport dining that is a welcome retreat for many travelers. This is the third PGA TOUR Grill location to open in a partnership between global restaurateurHMSHost and the PGA TOUR, with locations at San Diego International Airport and Honolulu International Airport opening last month.

Located in the airport’s Terminal 3, PGA TOUR Grill opened for service on Saturday, June 28th. As an annual stop on the PGA TOUR, Las Vegas is a destination spot for golfers from around the country, which makes it a perfect fit for the PGA TOUR Grill. Inside the restaurant, the walls are covered with flat screen TVs to catch all the latest TOUR action, as well as memorabilia and tributes to the local golf history.

The PGA TOUR Grill’s menu was created with an emphasis on incorporating healthy ingredients like quinoa, beans, arugula, and pomegranate into all of the dishes. This gives travelers seeking wholesome food an easy choice when selecting where to eat. For example, the Power Salad, with quinoa, garbanzo beans, edamame, fresh herbs, sunflower seeds, grilled red pepper, red grapes, butter lettuce cups and a champagne vinaigrette; and the Mediterranean salad with baby arugula, shaved asiago, roasted tomato relish, red and yellow pepper, glazed walnuts, roasted artichokes and fennel and balsamic vinaigrette. Travelers looking for a little more can check out the “Clubhouse Creations” section, with the Power Burger, a ground turkey burger topped with fresh herbs and sea salt, baby arugula, fresh tomato, red onion jam and PGA TOUR Grill’s signature low-fat special sauce.
PGA TOUR Grill also offers many specialty cocktails like the GREY GOOSE 19th Hole, the Big Dog (a combination of Maker’s Mark, peach puree, Canton Ginger Liqueur, iced tea and ginger beer) and the West Coast Swing (Hangar One Wild Blueberry vodka, raspberry syrup, lemon juice and Sprite). Travelers can also select from a wide selection of tap and bottled brews, as well as a top-notch wine list.
